Chest (measure armpit to armpit)
Length (measure down the centre of the back – neck to hem)

Cotton Info:

Our garments are exclusively designed for Kowtow and are made from 100% organic, fairtrade, ring-spun, extra smooth, colour fast, combed, single jersey cotton (Sorry about the lingo). Lets explain:

Organic:
In brief our cotton is grown pesticide & herbicides free with sustainable farming practices.

Fairtrade:
We make sure that the farmers and workers that work for us are treated with respect and paid fairly for their hard work.

Combed:
Our cotton is first carded, and then combed, which removes short fibers and all that messy stuff. This means you get an awesome product that is stronger and softer.

Ring-spun yarn:
We also use ring-spun not open-ended yarn. Open-ended yarn is created cheaply by blowing together short, loose fibers, which results in a rough feel. Ring-spinning twists longer fibers continuously – creating a smoother, stronger and more durable yarn. This means the clothes hang nicely and the colour actually stays (and we like that!).

Extra-smooth:
A special enzyme added to the pre-wash gives the fabric an extra-soft, buttery-smooth feel as it removes loose surface fibers and prevents pilling (oh you're turning me on!).

Colour fast:
Our dyes are eco-friendly low-impact reactive dyes that bond with the fabric to give you colour fastness.

Single jersey:
Our garments are made from a perfectly chosen weight of 190 GSM, which makes them fit like a glove and not wear out after a couple of washes!
