Yesterday we met for the first time with our peeps in India, we’ve been looking forward to this for a long time. We got to meet everyone and got a tour of the very impressive factory. Over 500 people work in this building with some seriously impressive kit and work-flows. Gosia is there today checking on our summer 10/11 samples before we head to some of our cotton farms in the next couple of days. We’ll post some video and more shots soon. This week we launched our 100% upcycled bag. The outer is made from Kowtow Fairtrade Organic Tees, lining is excess stock sourced from a fashion workroom and the handles are made from hessian coffee sacks donated by Peoples Coffee. Kev Cahill made this short film about Alana McCrossin’s reverse graffiti project 350 reasons. She is aiming to get 350 reasons on why taking action on climate change is important and make them into public art using reverse graffiti. She currently has 183 reasons so go and help her reach 350.
